Grace is a Neuroscience PhD student in the lab of Dr. Bryan Copits. Using tissue from human organ donors and genetically modified mouse models, she studies how the peripheral nervous system detects and encodes tactile sensations such as temperature, pain, and touch. In her free time, she enjoys teaching others about science, playing instruments in local musical ensembles, and spending time with her cat.
