Brain Discovery – an outreach program that pairs neuroscientists with local 4th-6th grade classrooms to lead students in hands-on experiments exploring the brain and nervous system, with a focus on the scientific process and careers in science.
Synapse Education – an undergraduate student group that visits local 4th-8th grade classes to present demonstrations on a variety of neuroscience topics.
St. Louis Area Brain Bee (SLABB) – an annual neuroscience competition for high school students, sponsored by the Society for Neuroscience.
Camp Neuro – a week-long summer program for high school students interested in the brain and nervous system, run by Washington University medical school students.
The Amazing Brain Carnival – a Saturday event hosted by the St. Louis Science Center twice per year, featuring neuroscience-related talks and demonstrations for all ages.
